Title: Accounts Payable Analyst

I'm your person responsible for accounts payable administrative functions. Whether it's taking care of invoices, matching purchase orders, or gaining approvals, I'm here to get the job done. 

How would you describe your job to your grandma?

 I get to keep track of the payments that need to be made each month and pay them according  to our schedule.

How did you get into insurance?

 I started at Surex in Audit, moved to billing and am now in finance. 

What is a piece of advice you would give your 15-year-old self?

Make sure you take chances that are offered, even if they seem scary at the time.

What do you love about your job?

Learning the ins and outs of the payable system.

What is the hardest part of your role?

Making sure things balance out each month.

Ophthalmologist

What is the best thing you've done to advance in your career?

Be positive and engage in learning new things.

Who is someone you admire? and why?

My Mom, she has taught me to always look at the positive things in life.

I love spending time with my family!  Whether it be watching a ballgame, swim meet or rodeo, I love being there! If I am not at one of their functions, you can never go wrong with a beach somewhere!
