Surex is thrilled to be named on the winners list of the 5-star brokerages award! The 5-Star Awards, from Insurance Business Canada (IBN), recognizes outstanding service and products in the insurance sector and have been presented to companies rated as ‘excellent’ across all criteria.

As part of the survey to determine the 5-star brokerages, IBC asked consumers what they felt was most important when dealing with a brokerage. Customer service was the top response, with 98% of clients saying it’s important, while 94% deemed it ‘very important.’, making it clear that customer service is a top priority for Canada’s best brokerages. When clients were asked to elaborate on their responses, they said they enjoyed “the ability to talk to an actual live broker” and getting “prompt feedback to any questions or concerns with coverage.”.
Product knowledge and comprehensive coverage were also quite important to clients, with 97% of respondents saying those two areas are key when looking for a brokerage to work with, while 95% of clients deemed speed, pricing, and a broker’s understanding of their business important factors when choosing a brokerage.
The winners were posted on Insurance Business Canada’s website and will be published in an official report on August 4th 2021. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way!
